In my first blog, Overall I had written about travelling, my passion and career. It was my first ever attempt at jotting down my thoughts in words, so there might be a few mistakes here and there. Suggestions from you all are always welcome. This blog is about what actually solo travelling meant to me.

“Why do I prefer travelling solo?”

“How one can enjoy being alone?”

“Is it safe?"

I have been asked the same question so many times by several people around me. If I would have charged for this question then I would have travelled in first class to all my favorite destinations from it.

Don't I have any friends?

Am I crazy or what?

Did my parents disown me?

Then why am I going alone?

Why am I travelling solo?

For me it's a very simple answer. Travel is personal experience and everyone has a different perspective about the particular destination.

It’s an opportunity to find, explore yourself from within in a true sense, because in daily routine life we may never get time and peace for ourselves.

Solo travel teaches you to look at the world through different kaleidoscopes.

When you are alone in your pursuit, then only the sky is your limit.

You wish to go north but things might go south, but hey! Who's complaining?

You can book a general passenger train, or you can hitchhike with a stranger. Not your thing? You can just sit on the street for the whole day and enjoy simply watching all the passersby.

Only rule is there is no rule at all and that's the beauty of it.

You can eat whatever you want and sleep wherever you want (yeah, try it)

At times, you may finally just ask yourself what you actually want to do today, and then somehow do it.

I want to travel the world and breathe the air afresh.

Solo travelling gives you a chance to observe the people around, their locality, sounds that you don't often hear, their festivals, traditions and rituals. It often wonders to you that the world has so many shades and colors.

Travelling solo means you are not strictly alone, the world is full of strangers, friends waiting like you. I always encouraged people to go on solo travel at least once in their lifetime. It's an adventure truly with no limitations, no excuses, and no compromises. It may seem to be the scariest thing to do, but trust me if you do it once, I promise you three things you gonna achieve. Firstly It'll be one of your most memorable trips. Secondly, You'll return back to your home as a completely different person than you were before, and people will notice it. And lastly, You'll definitely do it again..!!!

Happy Travelling
